I guide on the Cache La Poudre river in northern Colorado. I use 2 nets from RPM. one I use when I'm guiding on the river and the other smaller net I use for myself. Both are terrific nets very tough and both extend to make it very easy to reach the fish. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to buy a good quality net that will last for years.

My partner and I used the iLumiNet06 25 x 30 with the extended 8-16 ft handle this year on the Master's Walleye Circuit and absolutely love it. I have had my iluminet for about a year now and it has been a very impressive piece of equipment. I fish mainly from a boat and really enjoy the the length, size, and ease of extention. My old net had a single pin design and was always a battle to extend and hit the hole when you were excited about netting a monster walleye. My current net has the rubber ghost net. When I first purchase the net, I had the lightweight mesh. I pull a lot of cranks with boards and found the netting to get all caught up in the fine mesh. Larry, the owner of iluminet changed the head and netting at no charge, awesome change. One last thing, on a recent trip to lake McConaughy we got blown off the lake so the kids and I fished off the bank. The bank was about six feet above the water and when we pulled in some big catfish and carp I was amazed that the net pole was so strong. The net is very easy to use, even my five year old can handle it. Happy netting!!!
